QotD: Repeat After Me...
How have people mispronounced your name? How is it supposed to sound?

I've had all sorts really. From Siama, to Salma and even Anna. My favourite mispronunciation however was when I was working in the purchasing department of a food business. I had this really long conversation with a supplier which resulted in the lady having to go away and find out some information and then call me back. When she did call back, she asked for Sue Falmer. I was confused for a moment because we had noone by that name at the company but then I realised she meant me. I laughed and said my name is Saima and I was the person she was talking to. She wouldn't believe me though! "I definitely spoke to Sue Falmer!" It took a whole lot of convincing and I even contemplated putting on a different voice and pretending to be Sue...It's only two syllables people!
It's pronounced Sigh-ma.
